HWO (Human Welfare Organization) is a Non-Political and Non-Governmental Organization committed to promote national development, by upgrading the socioeconomic condition of the underprivileged people in society. The organization was established in 2000 by the respected Executive Director “Dr. Suramoni Singha.”

Build communities that are accountable and responsive to the needs of the Poor, Indigenous Populations, Tea Garden workers and the marginalized with Dignity.

Mission General 1

Ensure basic health and medicate service for the target (agreed)
communities in need, within the specified operational locations,
delivered through awareness rising, demand creation, institutional
development, building of community capacity, linking with GO-NGO service delivery points and support for socioeconomic rehabilitation of affected people.

Extend support to formal systems to promote quality primary education
for children with special emphases on girls, disabled and working
children and design and implement innovative occupational and functional education for adolescents and adults and expanding
community education on health nutrition, sanitation, environment,
rights and governance.

At HWO Energy Limited, our goal is to provide sustainable, renewable, and energy efficient solutions to communities at affordable costs. We are committed to
implementing technologies such as solar panels and building improved cookstoves like
the Apon Chula and IDCOL ICSs. These initiatives not only reduce environmental impact
but also empower local households by providing cleaner, more efficient energy
alternatives. Our focus is on making energy solutions accessible to all, driving long-term
socio-economic and environmental benefits.

IDCOL ICS and many more!

Efficient ICSs
Efficient Improved Cookstoves (ICSs) like Apon Chula and IDCOL-certified models significantly reduce firewood consumption and indoor air pollution, leading to healthier kitchens and decreased deforestation. These stoves are designed for fuel efficiency and cleaner combustion, offering cost savings and environmental benefits to rural households.
